The Millhouse (sleeps 10)

The Mill House is a very sociable and versatile holiday home providing plenty of flexible accommodation for family gatherings and friendly get-to-gethers. At the heart of the house is a sunny, south facing dining room with ten foot oak refectory table – a wonderful place to plan activities over a relaxed breakfast or discuss the day over a leisurely dinner. The West-facing garden offers plenty of space for play, barbeques and relaxing sundowners.

Enter the house from the private, beech-hedged garden via a large tiled entrance porch with freezer – ideal for dogs, wellies, buggies and beach gear. The country kitchen with solid wood units is fully equipped with everything needed for large party catering including a plenty of crockery etc a large fridge, generous cooking facilities & dishwasher.

There are two bedrooms on this floor, which are ideal for those who don’t want to negotiate stairs:

Bedroom 1
Twin bedded room with views over the farm. Room for a cot.
Bedroom 2
Double bedded, twin aspect
Shower Room
With large walk-in shower, WC and hand basin

 
From the kitchen, one step down to the dining room, then via double doors into the comfortable sitting room with elevated country views and a cosy wood burner. A great place to relax and unwind, watch TV, play games or read a book.

From the dining room there are stairs down to:

Cabin style bunkroom (full size beds) great fun for kids.

From the sitting room there is a second flight of stairs down to:

Bedroom 4
Twin bedded room. South facing into courtyard garden.
Bedroom 5
Double room with plenty of space for cot or z-bed. Peaceful and restful.

with bath and shower over, WC & basin.


From the downstairs hall there is another entrance door giving access to the courtyard garden adjoining Woodlark Cottage & Caen Byre making these an ideal combination for booking together.
