Cycling Holidays

North Devon and Exmoor offers a wide range of cycling to suit all abilities from the level, traffic free Tarka Trail, ideal for a more leisurely family cycle, to energetic hill climbs around the coast and fantastic off road mountain biking along green lanes and across the moor.

Along quiet country lanes, through tranquil villages with welcoming pubs and tea rooms – a bike ride in North Devon is a great way to explore the area at a more leisurely pace. Or if you are looking for a cycling challenge then follow the routes of some of the country’s best known sportives & cycling competitions – the Black Rat, the Exmoor Beauty, the Exmoor Beast & the Tour of Britain have all been hosted in North Devon – and the bridleways & green lanes of Exmoor offer great mountain biking with some challenging hills and breath-taking views.

You can bring you own bikes or hire them in Braunton; we have a secure bike store at the farm and a wash down point should you need it after an intrepid off road foray. Our farm shop has supplies for you to pack a picnic for a day’s ride out and home cooked ready meals for a warm welcome home after an exhilarating day in the saddle.
