If you are looking for a venue to create your own, unique, bespoke event in a secluded and stunning location, you’ve found it!

• Our 4 cottages accommodate up to 23 plus cots
• The hub is our 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom cottage, The Mill House with sizeable kitchen, a dining room that seats at least 17 and a fantastic outdoor courtyard with seating for 20 and a covered deck area.
• The Mill House and Granary are wheelchair accessible
• Dogs welcome in our Caen Byre and Mill House cottages (additional fee applies)
• Beautiful oak floored studio space
• A variety of fields available for temporary structures such as teepees, yurts and biodomes 
• Lawn area
• Parking for 20 standard cars (minibus recommendations can be provided)

Little Comfort Farm offers a truly unique location for ecology and nature based courses. The farm supports  an astounding diversity of flora and fauna, much of which is rare or uncommon, contained within 70 acres of organic farmland that is managed for nature. With high quality on site accommodation and facilities, and our in depth knowledge of what can be found where, and when, the opportunities for nature based courses are endless!

• Bat Courses – 11 recorded species, 8 roosting, including barbastelle and lesser horseshoe. Jodie is a licensed bat ecologist.
• Bird Courses – 83 recorded species (18 red listed). Jeremy is a professional ornithologist.
• Butterfly Courses – 21 recorded species.
• Reptile Courses – slow worm, common lizard and grass snake on the farm. Adders and sand lizards nearby!
• Amphibian Courses – Little Comfort Farm’s lake supports smooth and palmate newts, a significant toad population and common frogs.
• Botanical course opportunities: grass ID, wild foraging, ancient woodland flora, hedgerow plants, summer and winter tree ID, fungi, lichen, aquatic plants, NVC classification and more.
• Survey techniques for ecological impact assessment and protected species survey.
