We are passionate about high quality, organic produce and very proud of what we grow on the farm. We are delighted to share this with you, whether you are a guest or a local.
Our Red Ruby Devon cattle are a critical part of the conservation work on the farm and thrive on our species rich grasslands. Our meat is organic, grass fed (never grain fed), slowly matured and hung for 3-4 weeks. It is of the best quality and we have the utmost respect for it and the animal it came from. We offer a range of steaks, joints, stewing meat and mince.
We have a flock of welsh lleyn cross texel sheep that graze the meadows after the cattle. Our lamb is organic and grass fed (never grain fed). All our lambs are raised on the farm and the meat is superb. We offer a selection of joints, chops, cutlets, steaks and diced lamb.
We have a small flock of hens who enjoy meeting our guests in the mornings and spend their days naturally foraging on our pastures. A mixture of breeds, they lay us a lovely mixture of blue, brown, speckled, white and cream eggs that are bursting with flavour with vibrant orange yolks.
Little Comfort’s Famous Apple Juice!
Our traditional, organic orchard buzzes with nature and produces the sweetest, most delicious apples. We pick the apples ourselves and press them here on the farm. We’re frequently told it’s the best apple juice our guests have ever tasted. We tend to agree.
We stock ethically sourced, high quality raw and dry dog food (dog’s get their own order menu!). We also stock bowls, treats and toys.
We stock cooking ingredients, sweet treats and ice cream, teas, coffee and a range of non food items including toiletries, maps, field guides and local art work. Almost everything we sell is organic, fair trade where applicable and much of our food is gluten and/or dairy free.
